Designed for chopping & throwing, these Axes have heavier heads than standard tomahawks and thick octagonal hickory handles.
Bearded Axes are great for back packing and camp chores as well as recreational throwing and small game hunting. Hung on a 14" long straight grain hickory shaft. Made in the traditional Nordic fashion and historically accurate to the Peterson typology "type C" ax prevalent across Scandinavia during the Viking age.
