I started throwing tomahawks around 12 years old when I got into Boy Scouts. All thru my time in scouting, and then as a U.S. Marine, throwing hawks was my hobby. As a professional truck driver, I carried tomahawks and tire thumps with me on the road and found them both to be extremely valuable tools and throwing was a fun way to pass the time. My passion for throwing axes and tomahawks has grown into a desire to make tools and weapons that are both functional and well balanced. I use reclaimed military grade tanker and wrecker bars as well as 18 wheeler leaf springs that are made from 5160 or similar high carbon spring steel.
